I am sharing this post to highlight a deeply disappointing after-sales experience with ASB Kia Gurugram(authorised Kia service centre) and Kia India, KIA India Motors, Kia India related to the servicing of my Kia Seltos vehicle.
During a recent service at ASB Kia, my car was mishandled and I was given a wrong diagnosis. Critical original parts of my vehicle were replaced with old parts without maintaining any service history and I was billed around ₹1 lakh under different items for this work. This is not aligned with what any customer expects from an authorised service centre.
After I raised the issue, Kia India conducted an internal investigation and, in their own findings, acknowledged serious negligence at the dealership level. However, despite this, no action has been taken against ASB Kia and no meaningful resolution has been offered to me. The communication from Kia India has now completely stopped, leaving me with a significant financial loss and safety concerns regarding my vehicle.
Since my repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly with ASB Kia and Kia India have failed, I am planning to initiate a legal complaint before the appropriate consumer court.
I am sharing this only to make other customers aware of the risks when authorised service centres do not take ownership of their mistakes, and when manufacturers do not protect consumers from such negligence. I still hope Kia India will review this case seriously, take action against ASB Kia, and ensure fair resolution so that other customers are not put through the same experience.
